When recording in the Video Producer, there are three recording framerates--Normal, Slo-Mo and Economy. Here are their differences.

Normal

  • Full HD resolution β€”1080P (1920 x 1080)

  • Records at 30 frames per second (FPS)

  • Better low light performance due to slower frame rate

  • Portions you set to slow motion not as smooth due to less frames

  • Smaller file size, faster upload times

Slo-Mo β€” Doesn't record in slow motion, but at a higher frame rate to make smoother slow motion possible.

  • Reduced resolution β€” 720P (1280 x 720)

  • Device determines recording frame rate (60 - 240 FPS)

  • Poorer low light performance due to faster frame rate

  • Smoother slow motion due to higher frame rate

  • Larger file size, slower upload times

Economy

  • Reduced resolution β€” 720P (1280 x 720)

  • Records at 30 frames per second (FPS)

  • Better low light performance due to slower frame rate

  • Portions you set to slow motion not as smooth due to less frames

  • Smallest file size, fastest upload times

You have unlimited video storage, so we encourage you to record lots of videos to share.
