When recording in the Video Producer, there are three recording framerates--Normal, Slo-Mo and Economy. Here are their differences.
Normal
Full HD resolution —1080P (1920 x 1080)
Records at 30 frames per second (FPS)
Better low light performance due to slower frame rate
Portions you set to slow motion not as smooth due to less frames
Smaller file size, faster upload times
Slo-Mo — Doesn't record in slow motion, but at a higher frame rate to make smoother slow motion possible.
Reduced resolution — 720P (1280 x 720)
Device determines recording frame rate (60 - 240 FPS)
Poorer low light performance due to faster frame rate
Smoother slow motion due to higher frame rate
Larger file size, slower upload times
Economy
Reduced resolution — 720P (1280 x 720)
Records at 30 frames per second (FPS)
Better low light performance due to slower frame rate
Portions you set to slow motion not as smooth due to less frames
Smallest file size, fastest upload times
You have unlimited video storage, so we encourage you to record lots of videos to share.
