When entering a multi-cut meet with cuts in SCY, LCM, and SCM, the meet host will sometimes set the Course Order to "YLS" in the Meet Setup.

A swimmer's eligibility and entry time are determined in the following way:

  • The SCY time is reviewed first, and if makes the cut, the fastest time is used.

  • If the SCY time does not make the cut, the LCM time is reviewed, and if it makes the cut, the fastest LCM time is used.

  • Both of the above are unavailable or ineligible, SCM time is reviewed, and if it makes the cut, the fastest SCM time is used.

  • If none of the above, the swimmer is ineligible for the meet.

Other possible course orders are YSL, LSY, LYS, or SLY.

Please also note if the swimmer has a SCY time, LCM, and/or SCM time and two or more qualify, the SCY time is used first even if the LCM or SCM time is faster.

To use the fastest LCM time no matter what cut, set the course to L so the fastest times are converted to LCM. Please check with the meet host before doing this.

You can modify the course order as follows:

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Events & Competition > Team Events.

  2. Click the desired event.

  3. Under Course Order, choose LYS.

  4. Click Save.
